It's when you already know you'll miss those busy, loud and messy days you're in right now (or just want to show your kids later on how you rocked those under bags eyes).
Parenting is hard, this is no joke. It takes a VILLAGE!

What are Quickie sessions?

You get all the benefits of a full session as you pick your date, time, and location (usually at home) but you split everything in half with your next-door neighbors. You get each 45 minutes and around 25 images.

They are painless, easy, and fun sessions that capture the bond and unconditional love in your family. They are perfect for snuggling, tickling, dancing, kissing, roaring… in your own environment as I come to you.

I will make you feel special, you will look amazing, we will have fun.

A QUICKIE SESSION IS FOR YOU IF:

• You want more fun/ flexibility/ personal photos than with standard mini sessions

• You are not ready yet to commit to a full family session because of time or money

• You don't want to travel because you just had a baby or don't feel like packing your crew in the car and drive

• You don't like to be in public for family photos

• Home is your safe place, your little nest away from it all

• You want to test me and see if I could be a good fit for your family

Yes! I am fully vaccinated and boosted. So is my husband. My kids are fully vaccinated too.
I can wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable. Don’t be shy. I will happily do it.

This is the best scenario. I cannot drive all around the DMV area so I try to have as many sessions as close from each other as possible. So reach out to your local friends, and neighbors. I need at least 2 families that live close by. If you don’t know anyone interested, post to your local online groups. And contact me. I will see what I can do to match you with another family.

The original idea was to have some kind of front porch sessions but it evolved to home sessions and I am not against going somewhere (as long as you share the session with someone else). I have a documentary approach to photographing families so I think it pairs well with shooting at home but if another location is meaningful to you, let’s go there.

They are ideal for those who have never worked with me and would like to try a storytelling session. They are also meant for past clients who need a refresher and cannot commit to a full session this year.
You can use a Quickie for a maternity session, mommy and me, family, newborn… and your pets are welcome!

No need for extravaganza! Your house or backyard is more than enough for amazing photos. I am interested and always look for connection, reactions, feelings. So no matter what you do, I want you to have fun and let the kids be the bosses (think of a YES day where you let them roam free). Usually water brings lots of giggles and fun. A simple bucket or sprinklers will work. You can make mud pies, build something, plant flowers, feed the birds, use your swing/ trampoline/ pool! Just pick 1 or 2 activities you usually do.

This is for your immediate family only so no grandparents or family reunion, sorry!
