DC NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER SPECIALIZING IN RELAXED PHOTOS AT HOME AND IN THE HOSPITAL

What memories do you want to hold onto as time goes by?

the first hours as a new family,
tiny yawns and delicate fingers,
breastfeeding times,
sibling love (or indifference!),
the first smiles,

or how you rock those dark circles under your eyes?

From the first gaze into your eyes to the (invasive!) loving sibling, you’ll have
not only a series of heartfelt portraits but a narrative of your earliest days as a family.

“But I feel overwhelmed and exhausted right now…”

You might be unsure of what to expect. I've been in your shoes! That's why I aim to make your newborn session calm, cozy, and intimate.

I prefer a documentary approach, focusing on the genuine moments of life as it is right now.

I'll come to your home or the hospital and we’ll come a couple of hours together. It gives us time to relax, chat, and capture beautiful moments as you embrace your child's first days on this earth. We'll discuss all the joys and challenges that come with newborn life.

Oh and you can have a newborn session until they’re 3 months old. Rest assured, there won't be any baby-in-a-basket clichés. It gives you time to settle into a routine and new roles as parents.

What can we say? Wow!!!! I am BLOWN away by these photos.
We knew they’d be great but somehow you still managed to
exceed our expectations.I am teary-eyed
watching the slideshow.
Thank you thank you, thank you!!!

Interested in a Maternity session?

Let’s create some beautiful images to honor your body and to celebrate your journey into parenthood.

Maternity sessions typically take place between 30-35 weeks of pregnancy.
However, there's no one-size-fits-all approach as each pregnancy is unique. I’ve photographed moms the day before they gave birth!
We'll schedule your session based on what suits you and your family best.

Embracing the opportunity to capture your pregnancy through photography is a beautiful tribute to the miracle of your body and the fleeting nature of this special time.

As a DC maternity photographer, I want to join you on this journey, documenting and celebrating your transition into motherhood through my lens.

maternity session - $1,300

A stand-alone maternity session includes:

  • A 60-min session at home or your favorite place(s)

  • All you favorite people, or with your pet or a mix of everything

  • An online gallery and all the digitals from the session (~30)

If you book a maternity + a newborn session, there’s a $300 discount on the maternity session (it’s $1,000 instead of $1,300).
They must be booked jointly.

Have you considered a fresh 48?

Maryland Hospital Newborn photography_2.jpg

No need to worry about dressing up, tidying up the house or preparing props.

Fresh 48 sessions happen in the first couple of days after your baby's born, right there in your hospital recovery room or at home.

You can focus on bonding with your new bébé while I capture those candid moments of love and connection.
You're still in that bubble of the hospital room, away from the outside world.

“Juliette, we love the photos!!! Thank you so much.
We're super appreciative of you capturing
the sense of place and these lived-in moments.
These will be so special to us to be able to look back on.”
