She turned 6 • Personal ongoing project

For the past 4 years I've been doing a personal project documenting my kids growing up. On their birthday month, I take 1 photo a day for the whole month and print them in a book (I use Artifact Uprising).
Because I can't commit to a 365 project (where you take a pic a day for a year), I thought this would be a nice idea to work on and push me to CREATE something tangible. It feels less intimidating and something I can totally do for 1 month. One year I decided to shoot black & white only but I try to keep it simple and to put not too much pressure. The goal is to portray my daughter/son in their daily activities and remember the places, the toys, the clothes, the friends, the activities they liked...

Getting the photo-book in my mailbox totally makes my day and I love to see all the little books stacking up.
